THE MISSION OF THE SCCA IS TO FUEL A SAFE, FUN AND EXCITING MOTORSPORTS EXPERIENCE FOR AUTO ENTHUSIASTS. OUR VISION IS TO BE THE PREFERRED MOTORSPORTS COMMUNITY IN THE U.S., BUILT ON FUN, SHARED PASSION AND ACCESS TO AN EXHILARATING MOTORSPORTS EXPERIENCE.

Part 3 - Line 4a
AUTOCROSS EVENTS ARE DRIVING SKILL CONTESTS THAT EMPHASIZE THE DRIVERS ABILITY AND THE CARS HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS BY DRIVING A COURSE DESIGNATED BY TRAFFIC CONES ON A LOW HAZARD LOCATION, SUCH AS A PARKING LOT.
ROAD RACING CONSISTS OF SPECIALLY PREPARED CARS COMPETING AGAINST ONE ANOTHER ON A PAVED TRACK. SCCA OFFERS DRIVERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE AGAINST OTHER RACERS AT BOTH REGIONAL AND NATIONAL LEVELS.
THE TIME TRIALS PROGRAM IS AN OFFSHOOT OF THE ROAD RACING PROGRAM WHEREIN COMPETITORS EXECUTE TIMED LAPS ON A ROAD COURSE IN AN EFFORT TO ACHIEVE THE FASTEST TIME.
