PRESENTATION OF ONE-WEEK LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCES/CAMPS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL AND POST-HIGH-SCHOOL YOUTH, INCLUDING THOSE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. IN 2022 THE CONFERENCES WERE IN-PERSON AT CAMP FACILITIES.

EXPENSES FOR 2022 INCLUDED FACILITY COSTS, ROOM AND BOARD FOR 3 CAMP SESSIONS. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CAMPERS SERVED IN 2022 WAS 363. TRAINING SESSIONS FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR COUNSELORS WERE ALSO HELD. JUNIOR COUNSELORS ARE HIGH SCHOOL OR POST-HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH WHO HAVE BEEN RYLA CAMPERS IN A PREVIOUS YEAR. SENIOR COUNSELORS ARE ROTARIAN VOLUNTEERS. THE CAMPS ARE OFFERED AT NO CHARGE TO THE CAMPERS WHO ARE SELECTED BY ROTARY CLUBS IN 2 ROTARY DISTRICTS IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS. MANAGEMENT OF THE CAMPS IS ALL BY ROTARIAN VOLUNTEERS.
