CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION - (1) OPERATE A GRADUATE INSTITUTE OFFERING DOCTOR OF MINISTRY, A PROFESSIONAL DEGREE (2) CONDUCT A NATIONAL CLINICAL TRAINING EVENT(PLENARY) WITH SPECIAL PRESENTERS AND SMALL GROUP SESSIONS AND (3) REGIONAL EVENTS (NATIONAL CLINICAL TRAINING SEMINARS), WITH SIMILAR CONTENTS, BUT LOCATED SO AS TO BE ECONOMICALLY ACCESSBILE TO MORE MEMBERS. PARTICIPANTS FOR 2021 WERE 225 FOR PLENARY (VIRTUAL/ZOOM); 110 FOR NCTS; AND 12 ENROLLED IN THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM.


PROVIDE COMPREHESIVE MEMBER SERVICES - DIRECTORIES OF MEMBERS, TRAINING PROGRAMS, AND LEADERSHIP; ACCESS TO BASIC DOCUMENTS DESCRIBING GOVERNANCE, STANDARDS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES; NEWS AND DIALOGUE ON TOPICS OF PROFESSIONAL/RESEARCH INTEREST; AND INTERPRETIVE MATERIALS FOR PROSPECTIVE TRAINEES AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN THE CLINICAL PASTORAL MOVEMENT.


CERTIFICATION ENSURES THAT CERTIFIED MEMBERS HAVE ACHIEVED AND MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS IN THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL FUNCTIONING, AS DEFINED FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE CERTIFICATIONS.
