DONATED DENTAL SERVICES/HEALTHY SMILES FOR TEXANS - PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL CARE TO THE AGING, DISABLED, MEDICALLY FRAGILE, DOMESTIC ABUSE SURVIVORS, AND VETERANS, THROUGH AN APPLICATION-BASED, IN OFFICE PROGRAM, WHICH RELIES ON STAFF, DENTAL VOLUNTEERS, AND SMALL BUDGET TO COVER LAB COSTS. IN 2021, NO EVENTS WERE HELD DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC.
EDUCATION - TDASF SUPPORTS THE EDUCATION OF DENTAL PROFESSIONALS THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION EVENTS PROMOTING DENTAL HEALTH FOR ALL. THE CAVITY FREE CORRAL PROMOTES DISEASE PREVENTION BY TEACHING CHILDREN AND ADULTS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER NUTRITION AND ORAL HYGIENE HABITS.
