Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

WE CONTINUED TO MAINTAIN STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES FOR ALL OF OUR CHILDREN, INTRODUCING THE GAME TO NEW MEMBERS AND INVOLVING OUR OLDER AND ADVANCED KIDS TO TOURNAMENTS-LIKE TENNIS. WE MONITORED CLOSELY TO OBSERVE THEIR COURTSMANSHIP, COURT MANAGEMENT, AND DECISION-MAKING. WE WERE ENCOURAGED BY THE RESULTS AND OUR MONITORING ALSO ALOWED US TO REASSESS OUR PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO CONTINUE TO MAKE A PRESENCE IN OUR KIDS SCHOOLS TO ESTABLISH OR REESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR TEACHERS. WE BELIEVE THAT OUR PRESENCE WILL REINFORCE TO OUR CHILDREN OUR BELIEF OF THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION. LATER, WE CONTINUE TO MONITOR REPORT CARDS, IN ADDITION, WE OFFER PEER COUNSELLING AND MENTORING AND TUTORING FOR OUR CHILDREN WHO SHOW THE NEED FOR EITHER. OUR SUMMER ACTIVITIES INCLUDED FIELD TRIPS TO GLIMMER OF HOPE WHERE A VARIETY OF OUTDOOR FUN CAN BE HAD. WE ALSO INCLUDED AN OVERNIGHT CAMP WHERE OUR KIDS GOT A CHANCE TO 'ROUGH IT UP' WITH FUN COORDINATED FIELD ACTIVITIES. THIS INCLUDED HIKING, CAMPSITE MEALS, OVERNIGHT STAY, GAMES, ETC. TO ENSURE SAFETY, WE HAVE ADULT AND PARENT CHAPERONES AS WELL AS QUALIFIED CAMP ATTENDANTS WHO HELPED TO ORCHESTRATE AN ARRAY OF FUN, GAMES AND ACTIVITIES. OUR KIDS WERE THE GUESTS OF UT-MANAGEMENT GRAD PROGRAM, AS SUCH, THEY WERE THE FOCUS FOR A CASE STUDY/PROJECT FOR THE CLASS. LATER, OUR KIDS WERE ALSO THEIR GUESTS AT A UT FOOTBALL GAME, WHICH INCLUDED A PREGAME TAILGATE PARTY, FOODS, DRINKS, PHOTOS, AND UT MEMORABILIA. THIS WAS A FIRST FOR MOST OF OUR KIDS AND IT WAS A MOST ENJOYABLE EVENT; BEING IN THE MIDST OF 100,000+ CHEERING LONGHORN FANS.
