AS THE WORLD'S LARGEST CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY, CHIMP HAVEN PROVIDES SANCTUARY RETIREMENT TO MORE THAN 300 CHIMPANZEES WHO FORMERLY SPENT THEIR LIVES IN BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH. THE SANCTUARY IS PURPOSEFULLY DESIGNED TO CATER TO THEM - FROM FRESH HEALTHY MEALS, DAILY ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, EXPERT VETERINARY CARE, FORESTED HABITATS, AND LARGE SOCIAL GROUPS, CHIMP HAVEN PROVIDES FOR ALL OF THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF A DIVERSE COLONY. WITH ADDITIONAL CHIMPANZEES STILL IN RESEARCH FACILITIES WAITING TO COME TO THE SANCTUARY, CHIMP HAVEN IS WORKING WITH URGENCY TO EXPAND ITS TEAM AND FACILITIES TO BRING THEM HOME AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
