THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED ITS PRIMARY ACTIVITY OF OWNING AND OPERATING THE ARBOR PLACE APARTMENTS, AN 84-UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX LOCATED IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO PROVIDE LOW-INCOME HOUSING BY MAINTAINING PROPERTY OPERATIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH CERTAIN MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS ISSED BY THE SAN ANTONIO HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION IN 1995. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED AS THE SOLE MEMBER OF VDC BABCOCK GP, LLC., WHICH IS THE .01% GENERAL PARTNER IN VDC BABCOCK, LP OPERATING AS LA RISA APARTMENTS (THE LRA PROJECT) IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. THE LRA PROJECT PROVIDED 237 AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS TO VERY LOW-INCOME AND LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. THROUGH ITS OVERSIGHT OF THE PROJECT, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO PROVIDE LOW-INCOME HOUSING BY MAINTAINING PROPERTY OPERATIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS OF THE U. S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD). THE ORGANIZATION HAD PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED FUNDING FOR PROPERTY ACQUISITION AND RECONSTRUCTION FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS (TDHCA) AS PART OF A LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINED PROPERTY OPERATIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS OF THE HUD AND TDHCA. TO ENSURE THE AVAILABILITY OF TAX CREDITS TO INVESTORS AS GOVERNED BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, MAINTAINED COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 42. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES, AND SERVICES FOR THE YOUTH AND ADULT RESIDENTS.
