MULTIPLE EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS INCLUDING THE ANNUAL CONVENTION, ADMINISTRATORS CONFERENCE, LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, STUDENT CONFERENCE AND SUMMER CONFERENCE HELD DURING THE YEAR TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND INFORMATION TO MEMBERS.
PUBLICATIONS TO EDUCATE AND INFORM MEMBERS INCLUDE THE FALL, SPRING AND SUMMER JOURNAL ISSUES, AND ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS TO MEMBERS WITH THE MOST RECENT HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, RECREATION AND DANCE NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS OF EVENTS AND OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST.
TAHPERD HAS PARTNERED WITH THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION FOR MORE THAN 25 YEARS TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS INCLUDING JUMP ROPE FOR HEART AND HOOPS FOR HEART, NATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS THAT TEACH PHYSICAL FITNESS AND PROMOTE COMMUNITY SERVICE.
