THE ASSOCIATION PROMOTES THE COMMON BUSINESS INTEREST OF CONTRACTORS & ENGINEERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH A SYMPOSIUM EVERY AUGUST. THE SYMPOSIUM FOR 2021 WAS VIRTUAL, AND HAD 350 ATTENDEES.


SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR 2000 AWARDS, AND IF THEY MAINTAIN A 3.0 GPA, THEY'RE ELIGIBLE FOR A SECOND AWARD THE FOLLOWING YEAR OF 3,000. IN 2021, THERE DIDN'T SEEM TO BE AS MUCH ENCOURAGEMENT OR COMMUNICATION FROM COUNSELORS TO THE STUDENTS BECAUSE MANY OF THE STUDENTS AND FACULTY WERE REMOTE. THEY AWARED THREE 2,000 SCHOLARSHIPS AND THREE 3,000 SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE RETURNING STUDENTS FROM THE PRIOR YEAR.
