TEACHER TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. INTRODUCING CONTEXTUAL TEACHING TECHNIQUES IN ORDER TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING AND READINESS UPON GRADUATION. THE PROGRAMS ARE FUNDED BY CONTRACTS WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND BUSINESSES IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.


NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION AWARDS SUPPORTING CONTINUING TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR EDUCATORS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THE AWARDS ARE ENTITILED NECESSARY SKILLS NETWORK, THE FUTURE OF WORK AND PATHWAYS TO INNOVATION. HUNDREDS OF EDUATORS PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITIES WHICH ENHANCE THEIR CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS.


CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS AND OTHER TRAINING WHERE EDUCATORS ARE INFORMED AND LEARN INOVATIVE METHODS OF TEACHING. SEVERAL WORKSHOPS ARE ATTENDED BY HUNDREDS OF EDUCATORS.
