THE HOUSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION'S GOALS INCLUDE RAISING THE PROFILE OF THE HOUSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY'S ESSENTIAL ROLE IN OUR COMMUNITY AND RAISING SIGNIFICANT FUNDS TO ENABLE HPL TO PROVIDE ENHANCED SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY.THE HOUSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE HOUSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY BY PROVIDING GRANTS IN SUPPORT OF OPERATING EXPENSES, SUCH AS BOOKS, TUTORING AND LITERACY PROGRAMS, AND PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BUILDINGS.
