A GOD-CENTERED COMMUNITY PROVIDING EDUCATION FOR ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS TO ACQUIRE MEANINGFUL WORK SKILLS; EXPERIENCE THE PRIDE THAT ACCOMPANIES THE ABILITY TO CONTRIBUTE TO ONE'S OWN SUPPORT; AND GROW SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND SPIRITUALLY.

SEE SCHEDULE OTHE BROOKWOOD COMMUNITY IS A RESIDENTIAL AND DAY PROGRAM FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. BROOKWOOD SERVES 108 "CITIZENS" (ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES) IN OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM AND AN ADDITIONAL 93 IN OUR DAY PROGRAM. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ALLOWS OUR CITIZENS TO FULFILL THEIR GOD-GIVEN PURPOSE FOR THEIR LIVES. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY PROVIDING CITIZEN-CENTRIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL, SOCIAL, AND VOCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. OUR 485 ACRE COMMUNITY CONSISTS OF OUR SPECIALLY DESIGNED NEURO-CONSIDERATE HOMES, WORKSHOPS, WORSHIP CENTER, HORTICULTURE CENTER, STORES & CAFE. WE CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR CITIZEN-CENTRIC OPPORTUNITIES BY ADDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN ALL THE WORKSHOPS INCLUDING, SHIPPING, FILING ORDERS, PRICING OF PRODUCTS FOR SALE, CHECKING IN DELIVERIES, ETC. OUR CITIZENS ARE GROWING AND ADDING VALUE TO OUR COMMUNITY DAILY AS THEY LEARN NEW SKILLS, INTERACT WITH THE PUBLIC IN OUR RETAIL STORES AND CAFE, TURNING DINERS AND SHOPPERS INTO BROOKWOOD COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS. OUR CITIZENS ARE FULLY ENGAGED IN THEIR WORK THROUGHOUT THE CAMPUS. OUR CITIZENS ARE THE HANDS OF GOD AS THEY HELP EACH OTHER AND HELP CHANGE THE WAY OUR MANY VISITORS AND SHOPPERS VIEW ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES.OUR RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS CONSISTING OF SPORTS, FITNESS, FINE ARTS, AND MINISTRY IN SERVICE TO OTHERS, ALONG WITH THEIR WORK, ALLOW OUR CITIZENS TO LIVE A LIFE OF MEANING AND PURPOSE.
