RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM - PROVIDING 24 HOUR FULL SERVICE IN A RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT TO ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. EDUCATION IS FOCUSED IN THE AREAS OF ACADEMICS, SOCIALIZATION, RECREATION, COMMUNICATION, VOCATIONAL, AND DAILY LIVING SKILLS.
VOCATIONAL AND SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES - PROVIDING DAY SERVICE AND NIGHT SUPPORT FOR ADULTS WHO HAVE INTELLECTUAL AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. EDUCATION IS FOCUSED IN THE AREAS OF ACADEMICS, SOCIALIZATION, RECREATION, COMMUNICATION, VOCATIONAL, AND DAILY LIVING SKILLS.
MAGNOLIA COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZED NURSING SERVICES TO CLIENTELE PARTICIPATING IN OUR RESIDENTIAL AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS. THIS MAY INCLUDE MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION, ENTERAL FEEDINGS, WOUND CARE, O2 STAT MONITORING, AND OTHER TASKS THAT ARE USUALLY PERFORMED BY NURSING STAFF IN OTHER ARENAS. MAGNOLIA EMPLOYS A DIRECTOR OF NURSING WHO SERVES AS ADMINISTRATOR OF THIS PROGRAM AND SUPERVISES A TEAM OF NURSES WHO ARE ON SITE FROM 6AM UNTIL 10PM, SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK. THERE IS AN ON-CALL ROTATION TO ADDRESS HEALTH EVENTS THAT MAY OCCUR BETWEEN 10PM AND 6AM, AND THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING MAINTAINS AN ON-CALL STATUS TO ADDRESS ANY EMERGENCIES THAT MAY ARISE.
