OBLATE SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY (OST) IS AN ACCREDITED CATHOLIC SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY OFFERING GRADUATE LEVEL PROGRAMS IN THEOLOGY, PASTORAL MINISTRY AND DIVINITY, A DOCTOR OF MINISTRY (IN A VARIETY OF FIELDS), AND A PHD PROGRAM IN SPIRITUALITY. OST PREPARES MEN FOR PRIESTHOOD FROM MANY DIOCESES AND RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD. OST ALSO PREPARES MEN AND WOMEN, RELIGIOUS AS WELL AS LAITY, FROM CATHOLIC AND OTHER CHRISTIAN TRADITIONS FOR A VARIETY OF MINISTRIES. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022 OST PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL SERVICES FOR APPROXIMATELY 224 STUDENTS IN DEGREE PROGRAMS, 216 STUDENTS IN CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS, AND APPROXIMATELY 4,724 PARTICIPANTS AT 46 CONTINUING EDUCATION EVENTS. OST ISSUED DEGREES TO 24 STUDENTS IN MASTERS PROGRAMS, 3 DOCTORAL PROGRAM STUDENTS, 2 PHD STUDENTS, AND 18 CERTIFICATE STUDENTS IN THE LMI AND IFP PROGRAMS.
THE MINISTRY TO MINISTERS (MTM) PROGRAM OFFERS ACTIVE MINISTERS A FOUR MONTH PROGRAM OF RENEWAL ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT. THE MTM PROGRAM IS OFFERED TWICE A YEAR. PARTICIPANTS IN THIS PROGRAM ARE HOUSED IN A FACILITY THAT ACCOMMODATES UP TO 25 PEOPLE AT A TIME. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022 THE PROGRAM HOSTED 26 PARTICIPANTS AND PROVIDED THEM WITH ROOM AND BOARD, MINI-COURSES AND WORKSHOPS FOCUSED ON THEOLOGICAL UPDATING AND RENEWAL, AS WELL AS TOPICS ON INTEGRATIVE SPIRITUALITY.
THE OBLATE RENEWAL CENTER (ORC) IS A FACILITY FOR RELIGIOUS CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, RETREATS, AND SPIRITUAL COUNSELING. THE FACILITIES INCLUDE 3 CONFERENCE ROOMS, SEVERAL SMALLER BREAKOUT ROOMS, LIBRARY, CLASSROOMS AND 60 GUEST ROOMS WITH PRIVATE BATHS. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022, THE ORC HELD APPROXIMATELY 55 EVENTS RELATED TO RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, AND RETREATS AND SERVED AND ACCOMMODATED APPROXIMATELY 4,564 GUESTS DURING THESE EVENTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORC RECEIVED $390,396 OF DONATED USE OF FACILITIES WHICH ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE REVENUE AND EXPENSE REPORTED IN PART III.
