THE VFW WAS ESTABLISHED TO ASSIST THE FAMILIES OF FALLEN COMRADESS AND LIVING MILITARY MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES COPE WITH THE HORRORS OF WAR. THE VFW IS A MILITARY SOCIAL ORDER THAT PROMOTES COMRADESHIP AMOUNG WAR VETERANS. IT ASSISTS ALL VETERANS DURING THIER TIME OF NEED.

DONATIONS MADE THROUGH THE VFW V-SWEEPS PROGRAM SUPPORTED BY MEMBERS DONATIONS. THESE DONATIONS ARE SPLIT BETWEEN THE STATE OF TEXAS VFW AND LOCAL VFW POST. THESE DONATIONS HELP SUPPORT THE ORGINAZATION AND PROVIDE SERVICES TO NEEDY VETERANS AND THIER FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
