THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF AMERICAN LEGION POST 166, VICTORIA TX,IS TO ASSIST DISABLED AND NEEDY WAR VETERANS, MEMBERS OF HE U.S. ARMED FORCES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, AND, THE WIDOWS AND ORPHANS OF DECEASED VETERANS. IN KEEPING WITH SUCH A PURPOSE, THE POST SPONSORS AND PARTICIPATES IN ACTIVITIES OF A PATRIOTIC NATURE AND CONDUCTS PROGRAMS FOR RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, LITERARY, OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
