HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM:THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES COUNSELING AND DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE TO FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, HPT SAW A LARGE DECREASE IN THE ASSISTANCE THEY WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE DUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS. IN 2020 HPT - PROVIDED HOMEBUYER EDUCATION TO 166 FAMILIES, PROVIDED 89 INDIVIDUAL FINANCIAL EVALUATIONS, AND ASSISTED 26 HOMEOWNERS WITH DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE. 12 CLIENTS COMPLETED FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATIONS AND CREATED PERSONALIZED BUDGETS, 2 COMPLETED A FAIR HOUSING WORKSHOP AND 2 FAMILIES RECEIVED FORECLOSURE/DELEQUENCY COUNSELING.
