GRANTS TO TEACHERS - THE NORMAN PUBLIC SCHOOL FOUNDATION (NPSF) WAS CREATED TO ENHANCE THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS IN NORMAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. NPSF HAS FURTHERED THIS GOAL THROUGH THE GRANTS-TO-TEACHERS PROGRAM. AWARDED TEACHER GRANTS FUND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS AND APPROACHES, FROM THE MOST BASIC TO THE MOST INNOVATIVE. GRANTS ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE ENHANCEMENTS TO CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENTS AND EMPOWER TEACHERS TO BE CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE AS THEY CREATE ENGAGING LESSONS.
SUDDEN OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM - OUR SUDDEN OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM EXISTS TO ENSURE THE FOUNDATION CAN ASSIST WITH ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THAT ENRICH LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS. NPSF UNDERSTANDS SIGNIFICANT NEEDS MAY ARISE THAT FALL OUTSIDE OF OUR GENERAL CLASSROOM SUPPORT GRANT PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM HELPS FILL THAT NEED.
TRIBUTES AND MEMORIALS - THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS TO THANK A SPECIAL TEACHER OR FRIEND, HONOR A LOVED ONE, OR MEMORIALIZE SOMEONE SPECIAL. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS PROVIDE A MEANINGFUL WAY FOR TO BOTH HONOR SOMEONE SPECIAL AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE ACADEMIC OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS IN NORMAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. DONATIONS ARE INVESTED INTO NORMAN CLASSROOMS THROUGH THE GRANTS-TO-TEACHERS PROGRAM.
