THE MISSION OF THE OKLAHOMA STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IS TO DEEPEN THE LOVE AND PRIDE FOR OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY BY SERVING ITS MEMBERS, ALUMNI, STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF BY INTENTIONAL AND INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING THAT ENGAGES MEMBERS OF THE OSU FAMILY, PROVIDING A WIDE VARIETY OF MEANINGFUL AND INCLUSIVE EVENTS, AND STRATEGIC AND CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS.

CHAPTERS - THE CHAPTER PROGRAM IS THE MOST VISIBLE SIGN OF THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION AS THE CHAPTERS REACH OUT TO ALUMNI AND FRIENDS BY GEOGRAPHIC AREA OR AFFINITY TO HELP THEM TO CONNECT TO OSU. CHAPTERS ALSO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS TO HELP STUDENTS ATTEND OSU. IN PERSON ACTIVITIES WERE CURTAILED BY THE PANDEMIC BUT CHAPTERS STILL CONDUCTED HUNDREDS OF EVENTS AND OVER $200,000 OF SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED.
STUDENT PROGRAMMING/HOMECOMING - STUDENT LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AND STUDENT LED PROGRAMMING TO ENGAGE AND INVOLVE STUDENTS IN THE CULTURE AND TRADITIONS OF OSU. HOMECOMING IS OSU'S RICHEST TRADITION, LINKING ALUMNI TO CURRENT STUDENTS AND THE UNIVERSITY. IT IS PRESENTED BY THE OSU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND PLANNED BY THE STUDENT HOMECOMING STEERING COMMITTEE. IT SERVES AS PRIMARY VENUE FOR KEEPING OSU ALUMNI CONNECTED TO THE UNIVERSITY. ALUMNI RETURN BY THE THOUSANDS TO CELEBRATE HOMECOMING AND REMEMBER THEIR COLLEGE EXPERIENCES.
LEGACY PROGRAMMING - PROGRAMMING TO CONNECT CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN OF OSU ALUMNI TO OSU. THIS INCLUDES GRAND PARENT UNIVERSITY (GPU) THAT PROVIDES A COLLEGE EXPERIENCE TO GRANDCHILDREN WITH THEIR GRANDPARENTS AT OSU.
