Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION WAS INCORPORATED AS A NONPROFIT ENTITY WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROCURE AND BUILD ENDOWMENT FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE MINISTRIES AND ENTITIES OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF OKLAHOMA CITY. WITH THE SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP AND GUIDANCE OF THE ARCHBISHOP OF OKLAHOMA CITY, THE FOUNDATION IS MANAGED BY A BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CONSISTING OF PRIESTS, DEACONS AND PROFESSIONAL LAY MEN AND WOMEN REPRESENTING THE VARIOUS GEOGRAPHIC AREAS OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF OKLAHOMA CITY. PROGRAM SERVICE STATEMENT CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.IN CARRYING OUT ITS MISSION, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES GIFTING VEHICLES IN WHICH THE CHURCH AND RELATED ENTITIES ARE DESIGNATED BENEFICIARIES; PROVIDES ESTATE PLANNING AND CHARITABLE GIVING INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE; AND DISTRIBUTES EARNINGS ON ENDOWMENTS TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN CENTRAL AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA.THE FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTES EARNINGS FROM ENDOWMENTS AND OTHER CHARITABLE FUNDS TO PARISHES, SCHOOLS AND OTHER MINISTRIES TO FURTHER DEVELOP THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN CENTRAL AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA. GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO CATHOLIC ORGANIZATIONS TO ADVANCE THE FAITH THROUGHOUT THE ARCHDIOCESE. GRANTS TOTALING $213,216 TO 51 PARISHES AND SCHOOLS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN 2021. 72 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TOTALING $112,190 IN 2021.IN ADDITION TO ENDOWMENTS AND CHARITABLE FUNDS OWNED BY THE FOUNDATION, 130 CUSTODIAL ACCOUNTS ARE MANAGED BY THE FOUNDATION FOR PARISHES, SCHOOLS AND OTHER MINISTRIES.
A CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT FOR THE DONOR'S LIFE WITH THE RESIDUAL ASSET GOING TO THE CFO MINISTRY FUND AT THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION OF OKLAHOMA TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO PARISHES, SCHOOLS AND OTHER MINISTRIES.
