THE OKLAHOMA DENTAL FOUNDATION WORKS TO DEVELOP THE OKLAHOMA MISSION OF MERCY, AN ANNUAL TWO-DAY FREE CLINIC WHICH MOVES AMONG COMMUNITIES OF THE STATE. THIS IS THE SIGNATURE EVENT OF CHARITABLE DENTISTRY IN OKLAHOMA, ANNUALLY PROVIDING MORE THAN $1.3 MILLION IN DONATED CARE. ALTHOUGH CANCELLED IN 2022 DUE TO COVID, THIS EVENT RETURNED IN 2023.
THROUGH THE USE OF MOBILE DENTAL UNITS, THE OKLAHOMA DENTAL FOUNDATION TRAVELS THROUGHOUT OKLAHOMA TO PROVIDE FREE CARE IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND SCHOOLS IN ORDER TO ASSURE ACCESS TO DENTAL CARE FOR UNINSURED, UNDERINSURED, OR THOSE WHO ARE PREVENTED FROM RECEIVING CARE FOR OTHER REASONS.
