LOAN INTEREST INCOME GENERATES MORE FUNDS FOR FUTURE LOANS, THUS INCREASING MEMBER CREDIT AVAILABILITY.
INVESTMENT INTEREST INCOME FUNDS PROVIDE HIGHER OR MORE COMPETITIVE INTEREST RATES MEMBERS EARN ON THEIR DEPOSITS THUS ENCOURAGING MORE SAVINGS, AS WELL AS A LIQUIDITY SOURCE FOR THE CREDIT UNION.
OVERDRAFT PRIVILEGE - THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, WE WILL PAY A MEMBER'S CHECK INSTEAD OF RETURNING THE ITEM WHEN THEIR ACCOUNT HAS A NEGATIVE BALANCE. THE CREDIT UNION STILL CHARGES A $30 FEE PER ITEM JUST AS THEY WOULD IF THE CHECK WAS RETURNED, HOWEVER, BY PAYING THE CHECK THE MEMBER AVOIDS A FEE FROM THE MERCHANT. THE CREDIT UNION HAS POLICIES IN PLACE THAT QUALIFIES A MEMBER FOR THIS SERVICE.
