THE SOLE MISSION OF THE LSU HEALTH SCIENCES FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT, ENHANCE AND ASSIST THE LSU MEDICAL CENTER IN SHREVEPORT. THE FOUNDATION WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION BY:1) EXPANDING THE AWARENESS OF THE MEDICAL CENTER'S MANY CONTRIBUTIONS TO MEDICAL RESEARCH, EDUCATION OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONS AND QUALITY HEALTH CARE.2) DEVELOPING AND ENHANCING FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE ENDEAVORS OF THE MEDICAL CENTER IN SHREVEPORT.3) PROVIDING THE MEANS THROUGH WHICH FINANCIAL SUPPORT IS RECEIVED AND ADMINISTERED.
