TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES TO PURCHASE ANIMALS AND EXHIBITS FOR THE ZOO OF ACADIANA, WHICH PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY SERVICES IN LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.

Part 3
USING ALL VOLUNTEER LABOR, THIS ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO ZOO VISITORS AND SCHOOL GROUPS. SUCH PROGRAMS INCLUDE A GROUNDS PROGRAM UTILIZING SMALL ANIMALS AND BIOFACTS, OUTREACH PROGRAMS, WHERE ANIMALS AND VOLUNTEERS ARE BROUGHT TO SCHOOLS, ALONG WITH VARIOUS OTHER DAY PROGRAMS AND SPECIAL EVENTS. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT APPROXIMATELY 15,000 PEOPLE WERE SERVED DURING THE YEAR 2019.
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ANIMAL EXHIBITS TO HOUSE AND DISPLAY ANIMALS ON THE ZOO GROUNDS.
