TO PROVIDE TIMELY AND USEFUL INFORMATION TO THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS IN WAY OF BRAILLE, LARGE PRINT, AND CASSETTE. THIS INCLUDES PRODUCTION OF A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, BALLET INFORMATION LESSONS, AND MANUELS. MEMBERS PAY DUES AND ATTEND AN ANNUAL CONVENTION DESIGNED TO PROVIDE VARIOUS AVENUES OF INFORMATION THAT PROVES USEFUL TO ASSIST THE BLIND IN EVERYDAY LIFE. WEEKLY BINGO GAMES ARE HELD WITH THE NET PROCEEDS DISBURSED TO THE ORGANIZATION TO HELP COVER OPERATING COSTS.
