HHS GRANT - EXPENDITURES RELATED TO A GRANT FOR EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS. THE FOUNDATION FACILITATES EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS BETWEEN OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND HOSPITALS IN THE STATE.
HQIC - EXPENDITURES RELATED TO A CONTRACT FOR PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO RECRUITED HOSPITAL THAT COMMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT (HQIC). THE LHAREF ADMINISTERS FUNDS RECEIVED FROM CONVERGENCE HEALTH TO REDUCE HOSPITAL-ACQUIRED CONDITIONS AND READMISSIONS, AS WELL AS IMPROVE OPIOID STEWARDSHIP AND HOSPITAL RESPONSE TO PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCIES. FUNDS RECEIVED WERE BASED UPON THE NUMBER OF HOSPITALS RECRUITED AND SUPPORTED.
ASPR: - EXPENDITURES RELATED TO A CONTRACT FOR PROVIDING FUNDING TO HOSPITALS THAT EXECUTED A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT. THE LHAREF ADMINISTERS FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR PREPAREDNESS RESPONSE (ASPR) FOR ALLOWABLE EXPENDITURES RELATED TO COVID. IN ADDITION TO THE FLOW-THROUGH FUNDING FOR THE HOSPITALS, THE LHAREF RECEIVES A 10% ADMINISTRATION FEE FOR THE PROGRAM.
