THE MISSION OF THE UNIVERSITY IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROMOTION OF A MORE JUST AND HUMANE SOCIETY BY PREPARING ITS STUDENTS TO ASSUME ROLES OF LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE IN A GLOBAL SOCIETY. THIS PREPARATION TAKES PLACE IN A DIVERSE LEARNING AND TEACHING ENVIRONMENT THAT INCORPORATES ALL RELEVANT EDUCATIONAL MEANS, INCLUDING RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY SERVICE.

FOUR YEAR POST SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE AND SCHOOL OF PHARMACY AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS XAVIER UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH UPWARD MOBILITY,INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS, AN EXCELLENT BIOLOGY PROGRAM AND WITH A 93% PLACEMENT RATE FOR GRADUTE STUDENTS ENTERING THE JOB MARKET.XAVIER HAS ESTABLISHED SEVERAL INNOVATVE PROGRAMS WITH SUCH ORGANIZATIONS AS IBM, MOREHOUSE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER KAPLAN, GILEAD AND OCHSNER HEALTH.
