THE SOAP ENDOWMENT FUND FUNDS EDUCATIONAL ENDEAVORS IN OBSTETRIC ANESTHESIA AS WELL AS RESEARCH GRANTS AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT MEET STRICT CRITERIA. ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROMOTE PATIENT SAFETY, EDUCATION, AND RESEARCH IN ANESTHESIA MAY ALSO RECEIVE FUNDING. THE SOAP ENDOWMENT FUND ALSO SUPPLIED FUNDING FOR THE WINNERS OF THE GERTIE MARX RESEARCH COMPETITION AND RECIPIENTS OF THE SOAP/KYBELE INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH GRANT AND YOUNG INVESTIGATOR GRANT.
