OPERATION OF A QUALIFIED ABILITYONE AGENCY THAT PROVIDES TRAINING, EMPLOYMENT AND SERVICES FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY-IMPAIRED. MANUFACTURING AND SALES OF APPAREL, TEXTILES, AND PAPER PRODUCTS UTILIZING THE SKILLS OF BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS. CONTRIBUTIONS ARE USED TO PROVIDE TRAINING FOR SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS. FUNDS ARE ALSO USED TO DEVELOP NEW PRODUCT LINES AND SERVICES TO CREATE JOBS FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED.EFFECTIVE 10/01/2017, ARKANSAS LIGHTHOUSE FOR THE BLIND DISCONTINUED OPERATIONS AND TRANSFERRED ALL OPERATIONAL INTERESTS TO WINSTON-SALEM INDUSTRIES FOR THE BLIND.
