BUILD STRONG WORKING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILIES, TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS. THE PTO SERVES AS THE CONNECTIVE LINK BETWEEN THE SCHOOL AND THE FAMILIES OF ITS STUDENTS. IT HELPS KEEP PARENTS INFORMED, RAISE FUNDS TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS TO VOLUNTEER AND GET INVOLVED AND WORK WITH OTHER PTO'S IN SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

SPONSOR AGENDAS FOR ALL CROSSROADS STUDENTS-NORTH AND SOUTH THE PTO SPONSORS AGENDA FOR STUDENTS. THEY ARE ORDERED BY THE SCHOOL AND THE PTO PAYS FOR IT. AMOUNT DIFFERS EVERY YEAR DEPENDING ON THE COUNT ORDERED.
STAFF APPRECIAION- THE PTO SPONSORS LUNCH FOR TEACHERS AND STAFF AT VARIOUS TIME LIKE TEACHERS APPRECIATION WEEK , CONFERENCES ETC
PATTERNSS- PATTERNS ASSEMBLIES TAKES PLACE THRICE A YEAR AND ITS AN ENCOURAGEMENT FOR KIDS TO READ BOOKS. THE PTO SPONSORS PRIZES AT SUCH EVENTS.
VARIOUS PROGRAMS- PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SUPPLEMENTAL CLASSROOM PROGRAMS, AS NEEDED,THROUGH MINI-GRANTS. UNIFIED VIKINGS IS A SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AT SB AND CONDUCTED AT CROSSROADS SOUTH. LAST YEAR, ONE OF THE SPORTS TEACHERS HAD RUN A MARATHON TO RAISE FUNDS AND CREATE AWARENESS OF THIS PROGRAM. HE DONATED A PORTION OF THESE FUNDS TO CROSSROADS PTO TO SUPPORT ACTIVITIES AT SOUTH FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS GROUP. THE T-SHIRTS WERE A PART OF THE PURCHASES FOR THE STUDENTS IN THIS GROUP. THEY WERE BOUGHT FROM UNIFIED SPORTS.
