CV-SALTS RESEARCH SUPPORT - THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH STUDY WILL IDENTIFY WHERE AND IF DOMESTIC SEPTIC SYSTEMS IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY OF CALIFORNIA ARE IMPACTING LOCALIZED DRINKING WATER WELLS WITH NITRATES. NITRATES ARE DRINKING WATER CONTAMINANTS THAT ARE A HEALTH HAZARD TO CHILDREN AND CAN BE RELEASED FROM DOMESTIC SEPTIC SYSTEMS.
ELECTRICAL STUDY - FARMERS IN CALIFORNIA HAVE MULTIPLE ELECTRIC ACCOUNTS AS PART OF THEIR OPERATIONS. AGGREGATION OF THESE ACCOUNTS WILL GREATLY ASSIST IN THE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE FARM AND THE PRODUCTION OF FOOD CROPS. THIS FEASIBILITY STUDY WILL EVALUATE IF THE AGGREGATION OF MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS INTO ONE FARMER ACCOUNT IS APPLICABLE WITH PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY ACCOUNTS. THE STUDY WAS AUTHORIZED BY THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION RELATED TO OBTAINING DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION ON AGRICULTURAL CUSTOMERS' ELECTRICAL USAGE TO ALLOW EVALUATION OF AGRICULTURAL ACCOUNT AGGREGATION.
