TO ACT AS THE BASE OF A COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK AMONG EOPS STAFF, STUDENTS, ADVISORY COMMITTEES, THE CHANCELLOR'S OFFICE STAFF, AND OTHER GROUPS THAT SERVE EOPS STUDENTS IN COMMUNITY COLLEGES. TO COMMUNICATE THE NEEDS OF THE EOPS PROGRAM, TO ASSIST IN IMPLEMENTING STATEWIDE POLICIES, PROGRAMS AND REGULATIONS. TO ENCOURAGE AND PARTICIPATE IN ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS AT THE LOCAL, STATE LEVELS TO ASSIST DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE ENABLES MEMBERS TO PLAN, IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE CAMPUS PROGRAMS. IN ADDITION THE MEMBERS APPROVE AND CONFIRM AMENDMENTS RELATING TO BUDGET AND CCCEOPSA BOARD POSITIONS. CONFERENCE WAS HELD VIRTUALLY AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC.
THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OVERSEES THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION WITH MONTHLY MEETINGS, AN ANNUAL RETREAT, PUBLICATION OF NEWSLETTER AND PROVIDES LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT. RETREAT WAS HELD VIRTUALLY AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC.
