SHASTA YOUTH SPORTS CONSISTS OF FIVE PROGRAMS THAT HELP DEVELOP THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE SPORT THEY ARE INTERESTED IN AND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL HELP TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE BEST TOOLS AND PROGRAMS WE CAN PROVIDE. -YOUTH SPORTS PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL HELP WHERE NEEDED. -YOUTH/LEGION BASEBALL PROVIDE PROGRAMS TO ABOUT 350 YOUTHS 5 TO 19 YEARS OF AGE. -YOUTH SOCCER HELPED WITH PROGRAMS AND FINANCIAL HELP FOR ABOUT 300 YOUTHS.-MT. SHASTA HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTERS PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR ABOUT 250 STUDENTS IN 12 SPORTS AT THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL. MOST OF THESE PROGRAMS ARE RUN BY PARENTS.
