HEALDSBURG EDUCATION FOUNDATION (HEF) RAISES FUNDS FROM HEALDSBURG COMMUNITY MEMBERS AS WELL AS INSTITUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE HEALDSBURG PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS. HEF SELECTS PROGRAMS TO FUND THAT WILL SERVE THE GREATEST NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN THE MOST EQUITABLE MANNER, WITH A FOCUS ON INITIATIVES THAT PROMOTE COLLEGE AND CAREER SUCCESS.

FUNDING PRIORITIES: VITAL 21ST CENTURY EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDING: PARENT OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT COORDINATORS: THESE INDIVIDUALS SERVE ALL FOUR HEALDSBURG PUBLIC SCHOOLS, OFFERING BILINGUAL SERVICES TO ALL HUSD FAMILIES. THEY ACT AS A COMMUNICATION BRIDGE BETWEEN THE SCHOOLS, TEACHERS AND FAMILIES, HOLD PARENT INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS, ASSIST IN TRANSLATING DURING PARENT/TEACHER AND COUNSELOR MEETINGS, AND CONNECT FAMILIES WITH NEEDED RESOURCES, INCLUDING FOOD, INTERNET, LEGAL AID AND MORE.
