WE PROVIDED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES INDIVIDUAL AND GROUPS MUSIC THERAPY CREATIVE ART SESSIONS PLUS EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS YOGA AND OTHER ANCILLARY SERVICES. IN EARLY 2020 WE LAUNCHED EXPRÉSATE A MENTAL HEALTH AND SUICIDE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN.
DESCUBRETE - BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP & COOPERATIVE FOR DIVERSE POPULATIONS IN PR. THIS PROGRAM SUPPORTS SMALL BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AMONG LGBTT OLDER ADULTS AND FEMALES LEAD HOUSEHOLDS. EMPODERATE - A PUBLIC POLICY FOCUSED PROGRAM IN ADVOCATING FOR LGBTTQ+ INCLUSIVE LAWS PROTOCOLS AND GUIDELINES TO BETTER THE LIVES OF LGBTTQ+ COMMUNITY IN PUERTO RICO. IN ADDITION TRAIN LGBTTQ+ ACTIVISTS AND ALLIES TO INCRASE INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE POWER TO CREATE CHANGE. ASSIST GOVERNMENT ENTITIES PRIVATE SECTOR INDUSTRIES AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS IN CREATING ADAPTING AND IMPLEMENTING INCLUSIVE POLICIES TRAININGS AND PROTOCOLS. THE FIRST TWO-DAY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY HELD IN OCTOBER 2021 WITH MORE THAN 55 DELEGATES PLUS HAVE TESTIFIED IN 7 PUBLIC HEARING RELATING TO LGBTTQ+ TOPICS.
PUERTO RICO HAS BEEN DEVASTATED BY HURRICANES SEPTEMBER 2017 MARIA AND IRMA BANKRUPTCY EARTHQUAKES 2020 IMPACTING MORE THE SOUTH-WESTERN TOWNS AND THE COVID PANDEMIC. THIS PROGRAM WORKS IN PROVIDING NECESSITIES AS WATER FOOD TOILETRIES AND ANY OTHER PERTINENT DONATION. IN ADDITION WE PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID AND SHORT-TERM MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS DURING OUR INTERVENTIONS. SINCE FEBRUARY 2020 WE HAVE ADDED A FOOL SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE THAT INCLUDES EDUCATION ON HOW TO GROW A HOME GARDEN PROVIDES TOOLS AN SEEDS AND "DIRT-THERAPHY'.
