THE RED HOOK PLAYGROUP (RHP) IS A PROGRESSIVE PRESCHOOL FOR CHILDREN AGES TWO-AND-A-HALF TO FIVE YEARS OLD. EACH YEAR RHP WORKS TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS, WHO ARE EQUIPPED AT THIS EARLY PERIOD OF DEVELOPMENT TO THINK CREATIVELY AND CRITICALLY, AND TO RESPECT, SUPPORT, AND LEARN FROM ALL MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY. THE SCHOOL YEAR RUNS FROM SEPTEMBER TO JUNE WITH AN OPTIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM.
