THE MISSION OF CCICI IS TO PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE CHILDREN AND YOUTH, SENIOR CITIZENS AND ADULTS RECEIVE ONGOING SERVICES IN THE SAME ENVIRONMENT AND TO PROMOTE INTERACTION AMONG LIFE-SPAN AGE GROUPS THROUGH PLANNED INTERGENERATIONAL ACTIVITIES.

GENESIS CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAMS: OVER 125 DIFFERENT STUDENTS WERE SERVED IN AFTER SCHOOL CARE, SUMMER CAMP, AND YEAR ROUND TRACK OUT INTERSESSION. DURING AFTER SCHOOL, STAFF ASSISTED STUDENTS WITH HOMEWORK COMPLETION AND TUTORED THEM IN MATHEMATICS AND READING. IN ADDITION TO BEING TUTORED IN MATHEMATICS AND READING, STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN SCIENCE ACTIVITIES AND WERE EXPOSED TO CULTURAL AND ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES.
