THE COALITION SEEKS TO FURTHER THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND INTELLECTUAL NEEDS OF MIAMI-DADE AND MONROE COUNTY. CHILDREN WITH A PRIORITY TOWARD THE AGES BEFORE BIRTH THROUGH AGE 5.

PROVISION OF SUBSIDIZED CHILD CARE SERVICES TO PROMOTE SCHOOL READINESS AND PREKINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS, THUS INCREASING ALL CHILDREN'S CHANCES OF ACHIEVING FUTURE EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS AND BECOMING PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY INCLUSIVE OF SUBSIDIZED CHILD CARE SERVICES TO AT-RISK CHILDREN AND CHILDREN OF NEEDY FAMILIES. SERVICES PROVIDED TO APPROXIMATELY 23,000 CHILREN FOR SCHOOL READINESS GRANT AND APPROXIMATELY 20,000 CHILDREN FOR THE VPK PROGRAM.
TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC SELF SUFFICIENCY OF REFUGEE/ENTRANT FAMILIES BY PROVIDING QUALITY AND AFFORDABLE CHILD CARE SERVCIES FOR THEIR CHILDREN WHILE PARENTS PARTICIPATE IN ADULT/VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES. SERVICES PROVIDED TO AN AVERAGE OF 280 CHILDREN.
