THE MISSION OF THE CHILDRENS MUSEUM OF THE TREASURE COAST IS TO OFFER CHILDREN AND FAMILIES A PLACE TO EXPLORE AND LEARN THROUGH HANDS ON ACTIVITIES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCES.

SINCE OPENING IN 2008 WITH THE FRANCES LANGFORD "OUR TOWN" WING WHICH INCLUDED FOUR MAIN EXHIBITS; A GROCERY STORE, A TRADITIONAL FLORIDIAN CRACKER HOUSE, A WELLNESS CENTER AND A BEACH-THEMED TODDLER AREA, THE MUSEUM HAS ADDED OVER 20 NEW EXHIBITSAND STILL HAS 3 MAJOR EXHIBITS DESIGNED FOR THE BANK OF AMERICA "EXPLORER'S GALLERY" WING. THE MUSEUM IS CONFIDENT IT IS EMBRACED BY THE TREASURE COAST COMMUNITY, HAVING EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS AND FULFILLED A MUCH NEEDED NICHE IN THE CULTURAL AND NON-PROFIT FAMILY. THE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM'S EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMSHAVE BECOME A VALUABLE ASSET TO ALL SCHOOLS WITHIN INDIAN RIVER, ST. LUCIE, MARTIN, OKEECHOBEE, AND NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTIES. THE MUSEUM WELCOMES OVER 70,000 VISITORS ANNUALLY AND OVER 5,000 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE EACH YEAR IN THE MUSEUM'S CLASSROOM BASED EDUATIONAL PROGRAMS.
