DUE TO THE ONGOING PANDEMIC IN 2021 COICOM ORGANIZED AGAIN AN ONLINE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION FREE OF CHARGE. THE CONFERENCE HELD IN NOVEMBER HAD CLOSE TO 4,000 PARTICIPANTS FROM AROUND 25 COUNTRIES. THE PROGRAM WAS SERVED BY MORE THAN 40 INVITED SPEAKERS WHO VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME AND RESOURCES TO PROVIDE DIFFERENT TOOLS AND STRATEGIES IN THE USE OF DIGITAL MEDIA. COICOM ALSO HELD SEVERAL ONLINE MEDIA WEBINARS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR RELIGIOUS BROADCASTERS. THESE ONLINE WEBINARS, A TOTAL OF 15 THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, WERE ATTENDED BY SOME 1,500 PARTICIPANTS. THESE WEBINARS WERE FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. THE WEBINARS SERVE TO EQUIP AND TRAIN THE PARTICIPANTS IN RELIGIOUS BROADCASTING, EVANGELISM, CHURCH MEDIA, AND SOCIAL CARE. COICOM ASSISTED IN THE SETUP AND TRAINING OF 2 FM RADIO STATIONS IN PARAGUAY. ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING WAS DONATED. COICOM ALSO HAS AN ONLINE TELEVISION CHANNEL CALLED COICOM.TV AVAILABLE AT WWW.COICOM.TV TO PROVIDE FREE OF CHARGE TRAINING IN THE USE OF MEDIA AND DIGITAL TOOLS. THE FREE DOWNLOADS OF RECORDED SEMINARS AND COURSES FURTHER HELPED TO TRAIN AND EQUIP THOSE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND OUR CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS. AS A RESULT OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANIZATION THROUGHOUT THE YEAR MANY BROADCASTERS AND COMMUNICATORS HAVE BEEN STRENGTHENED WITH PROGRAMMING, RECEIVED TRAINING FREE OF CHARGE, AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK WITH FELLOW COMMUNICATORS AND CHURCH MEDIA PROFESSIONALS.
