THE GALLERIES AND EXHIBITS IS THE SIGNATURE PROGRAM OF THE MUSEUM. FROM THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR THROUGH MODERN CONFLICTS, AND ACROSS ALL FIVE MILITARY BRANCHES, THE MUSEUM UTILIZES THESE MULTIPLE INTERPRETIVE METHODS TO EDUCATE ITS VISITORS ON THE HERITAGE ASPECTS OF US MILITARY HISTORY. THROUGH A BLEND OF INTEGRATING ITS TWENTY-THOUSAND PLUS ARTIFACTS, VETERAN MUSEUM GUIDES, FLIGHT AND VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATORS, GRAPHICS, LIVE PERFORMANCE, AND AUDIOVISUAL; THE MUSEUM PROVIDES UNIQUE INNOVATIVE EXPERIENCES THROUGHOUT ITS 6 GALLERIES AND SPECIAL EXHIBITS.
THE MUSEUM'S GULF THEATRE WAS BUILT BY THE ORIGINAL OWNERS TO PROVIDE MEETINGS AND LECTURES WITH A TOTAL OF 247 SEATS. THE THEATRE OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DELIVER ALL THE NECESSARY ELEMENTS FOR LECTURES, MEETINGS, CONCERTS, FILMS, AND PERFORMING ARTS. IN 2020 THE THEATRE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY RENOVATED IN ORDER TO PROVIDE MILITARY-THEMED CEREMONIES, MOVIES, PLAYS, LECTURES AND OTHER PERFORMANCE-BASED ACTIVITIES SUPPORTING ITS HERITAGE-BASED MISSION. THE MILITARY HERTIAGE MUSEUM LEVERAGES THE THEATRE AS A CRITICAL PROGRAM AREA FOR CREATING MEANINFUL EXPERIENCES FOR THE MUSEUM'S MEMBERS AND VISITORS.
