HOPE4COMMUNITIES-WE ENSURE THAT ALL CHILDREN WHO ARE HOMELESS AND IN NEED ARE PREPARED FOR SCHOOL BY INITIATING DAYS 4 HOPE AND COACHING FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. SERVED 3,052 STUDENTS WITH NUMEROUS PARTNERING CHURCHES AT 18 EVENTS WITH APPROXIMATELY 3,500 VOLUNTEERS AT OUR 13TH ANNUAL DAYS 4 HOPE.
FORERUNNERS OF AMERICA-RECRUITING AND EDUCATING FORERUNNERS TO BE ALERT TO THE UNIQUE PROBLEMS OF OUR IMMEDIATE NATIONAL STATE AND TO RESPOND APPROPRIATELY.
MUSIC4LIFE PROVIDES DONATED AND REPAIRED MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AT NO CHARGE TO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS FOR USE BY STUDENTS IN NEED. WE DO THIS BECAUSE RESEARCH SHOWS THAT CHILDREN WHO PARTICIPATE IN INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC ACTIVITIES DO BETTER IN NUMEROUS ACADEMIC AREAS AND BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THAT INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC CAN AND DOES SAVE LIVES. WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY CHILD SHOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE THEIR EDUCATION THROUGH MUSIC. MUSIC EDUCATION AFFORDS MYRIAD BENEFITS THROUGHOUT LIFE, AND WE ASPIRE TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN TO REAP THOSE BENEFITS.
