Part 3 - Line 4a
EARLY AWARENESSUNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO EARLY DETECTION TEST FOR OVARIAN CANCER. BECAUSE OF THIS, THE DISEASE IS ALMOST ALWAYS DIAGNOSED AT A LATE STAGE WHEN THE SURVIVAL RATE IS LESS THAN 30 PERCENT. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WOMEN AND THOSE CLOSE TO THEM RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVARIAN CANCER AND REPORT THEM TO THEIR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS AND RESOURCES, WE EMPOWER SURVIVORS AND CAREGIVERS TO MAKE THE APPROPRIATE HEALTH DECISIONS AS THEY MOVE THROUGH THE CONTINUUM OF CARE.
