HIV PREVENTION - PROVIDES FREE HIV TESTING,OUTREACH, EDUCATION COUNSELING AND LINKAGE TO CARE, BOTH ON-SITE AND THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY. COMPASS CONDUCTED 1,088 UNIQUE HIV TESTS AND 678 HOURS OF COUNSELING WITHIN THE LAST YEAR. COMPASS REMAINS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL HIV PREVENTION PROGRAM IN IDENTIFYING NEWLY DIAGNOSED LGBTQ INDIVIDUALS IN THE COUNTY.
COMPASS YOUTH PROGRAM PROVIDES SOCIAL-SUPPORT, MENTORING, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, COMPREHENSIVE SEXUAL HEALTH EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZING FOR LGBTQ YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIIES IN PALM BEACH COUNTY. SINCE 2021, COMPASS ADDED TELEHEALTH PROGRAMMING TO 139 UNDUPLICATED YOUTH WHO RECEIVED LIFE SAVING SERVICES THROUGH 47 THERAPY GROUP SESSIONS, 740 INDIVIDUAL THERAPY SESSIONS AND 322 HOURS OF SOCIAL AND SUPPORT GROUPS.
HIV CARE SERVICES (RYAN WHITE PART A & 340B) PROVIDES DIRECT SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGHT AN OUTSTANDING MEDICAL CASE MANAGEMENT CARE TEAM FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV IN PALM BEACH COUNTY. LAST CONTRACT YEAR, OVER 687 CLIENTS RECEIVED VITAL HEALTH SERVICES INCLUDING FOOD PANTRY, ELIGIBLE MEDICATION PAYMENTS FOR ANTIRETROVIRALS AND OTHER COMORBIDITIRIES, TEMPORARY HOUSING SUPPORT, ONSITE CLINICAL SERVICES, MENTAL HEALTH, MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION, EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM AND CO-PAY ASSISTANCE.
