ARRF TOOK OVER 421 DOGS INTO OUR SMALL SHELTER DURING 2021, WITH VARYING DEGREES OF HEALTH PROBLEMS. WE CARED FOR, GOT ALL REQUIRED VETTING FOR, AND PLACED 97% OF THESE DOGS INTO COMPATIBLE, LOVING, FOREVER HOMES. THE REMAINING 3% WERE DOGS THAT WERE TOO SICK TO SAVE, AND THAT WAS AFTER EVERY ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO SAVE THEM. THIS IS MIRACULOUS, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT, BEFORE ARRF GOT INVOLVED WITH THE "DOG POUND", MOST ALL OF THE DOGS WERE PULLED OUTSIDE OF THE SHELTER AND SHOT BY THE ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER. THERE WAS NO CARE FOR THE DOGS OR TRYING TO FIND LOVING HOMES. THE "DOG POUND" WAS A DEAD END STREET FOR THESE WONDERFUL CREATURES THAT WERE THERE THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. ARRF IS AN ALL VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WITH A SMALL ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP THAT WORKS TIRELESSLY TO ACCOMPLISH OUR GOALS.
