TO EDUCATE, PROVIDE FOR AND ASSIST THOSE LIVING IN POVERTY IN MADISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, THROUGH OUR FOOD PANTRY, CLOTHING CLOSET, COMMUNITY GARDEN, EDUCATIONAL AND HOME REPAIR PROGRAMS.

PROVIDED ALL THE NECCSARY SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR SCHOOL TO NEEDY CHILDREN IN MADISON COUNTY, MS. PROVIDED CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND FOOD TO 415 IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS. PROVIDED CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO APPROXIMATELY 712 FAMILIES IN NEED THROUGH COAT AND BLANKET DISTRIBUTION AND CLOTHES CLOSET SHOPPING. PROVIDED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO 28 IMPOVERISHED FAMILIES IN THE FORM OF PAID UTILITIES AND PRESCRIPTION DRUG ASSISTANCE.
HOUSING SERVICES: COMPLETED 46 HOUSING REPAIRS THAT INCLUDED RESOLUTION OF PLUMBING ISSUES, WINDOW REPLACEMENT, DOOR REPLACEMENT, WHEELCHAIR RAMP CONSTRUCTION AND MORE. SIX HOMES WERE PROVIDED WITH MAJOR REPAIRS SUCH AS ROOF REPLACEMENT, COMPLETE WINDOW REPLACEMENT, NEW SEPTIC TANK SYSTEMS AND/OR RETRO FITTING THEIR HOME TO ACCOMODATE A WHEELCHAIR BOUND INDIVIDUAL.
FOOD PANTRY: PROVIDED GROCERIES TO OVER 6,200 FAMILIES, WHICH INCLUDED 234,902 POUNDS OF CANNED AND DRY GOODS, AND NEARLY 11,000 POUNDS OF FRESH PRODUCE HARVESTED FROM OUR COMMUNITY GARDEN, HELPING HANDS GARDEN OF H.O.P.E.
THE NEW ATTITUDES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM HAD 212 INDIVIDUALS COMPLETE 12 HOURS OF ADULT BASIC EDUCATION AND THOSE INDIVIDUALS WERE ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND BOOK BAGS FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND/OR FOR HELP DURING THE HOLIDAYS THROUGH OUR "HOLIDAY ADOPT A CHILD" PROGRAM. MADCAAP ALSO PROVIDES SNACKS, EDUCATIONAL AND BIBLE STUDY INFORMATION TO 73 INDIVIDUALS WEEKLY THROUGH OUR JOE PRITCHARD HOME MINISTRY. DRIVE-THRU VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL MATERIALS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO 40 FAMILIES.
