HARBOR HOUSE EXPERIENCED MANY PROGRAMMATIC CHANGES DURING FY21 THROUGHOUT THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IN ADDITION, THE AGENCY EXPERIENCED MANAGEMENT TURNOVER MID-YEAR AND WAS WITHOUT AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FROM JULY 2021 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2021. HOWEVER, DESPITE THE CHALLENGES, THE STAFF AT HARBOR HOUSE REMAINED FOCUSED ON THE MISSION TO OFFER A CONTINUUM OF QUALITY, AFFORDABLE AND EFFECTIVE CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TREATMENT SERVICES AND PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.IN NOVEMBER 2020, THE AGENCY RECEIVED NOTICE THE CERTIFICATION WAS RENEWED BY COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES, CARF FOR THREE YEARS.HARBOR HOUSE APPLIED FOR AND WAS AWARDED A PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM (PPP) LOAN IN THE AMOUNT OF $343,845 DURING FY20 AND THE TOTAL AMOUNT WAS FORGIVEN IN DECEMBER 2020.THE AGENCY MANAGED THROUGH THREE COVID-19 OUTBREAKS AMONG CLIENTS WHILE PROVIDING QUALITY CARE TO MINIMIZE SPREAD AND MAINTAIN CENSUS.THE AGENCY WORKED TO SECURE NEW GRANT FUNDING THAT WAS AWARDED AT THE START OF FY22 INCLUDING:- MS OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $57,500 FOR IMPROVED SECURITY- MS DMH DATA ENHANCEMENT ANALYST GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,000 FOR IMPROVED REPORTING AND TECHNOLOGY PROJECTSDURING FY21 HARBOR HOUSE HAD 435 ADMISSIONS (250 MALES, 185 FEMALES) TO IT PRIMARY RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT SERVICES.
