THEATRE HUNTSVILLE IS DEDICATED TO PRESENTING A DIVERSE AND ENTERTAINING SLATE OF HIGH-QUALITY, VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN, THEATRICAL EXPERIENCES THAT EDUCATE, STIMULATE AND ENRICH THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THEATRE HUNTSVILLE PROVIDES LIVE STAGE PLAYS IN A COMMUNITY THEATRE FORMAT. ALL ACTORS AND MOST SUPPORT PERSONNEL ARE VOLUNTEERS WITH NO COMPENSATION PROVIDED FOR THEIR TALENTS AND SERVICES. PLAYS ARE PRESENTED IN THE PUBLIC PLAYHOUSE AT THE HUNTSVILLE VON BRAUN CENTER. THERE ARE TYPICALLY 7 SHOWS PER YEAR WITH 4-7 AUDIENCE PERFORMANCES FOR EACH RUN. ADDITIONAL SHOWS MAY BE SCHEDULED TO ACCOMODATE SCHOOL GROUPS IF THE SHOW IS RELATED TO A CERTAIN CURRICULUM. THE ORGANIZATION ACQUIRED THE STUDIO THEATRE PERFORMANCE SPACE AND EXPANDED THEIR OFFICE SPACE AT THE LOWE MILL ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTER. DUE TO COVID REGULATIONS, THEATRE HUNTSVILLE CREATED A E-THEATRE SERVICES, WHICH PROVIDED VIRTUAL ZOOM PERFORMANCE OF SHOWS.
