POLICY ANALYSIS: THE ARISE POLICY TEAM ANALYZED PROPOSED AND CURRENT LAWS TO PRODUCE 74 BLOG POSTS, FACT SHEETS, NEWSLETTERS AND LEGISLATIVE UPDATES.
ORGANIZING: ARISE STRENGTHENS OUR COALITION THROUGH EDUCATING OUR MEMBERS AND DEEPENING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. THE ARISE ORGANIZING TEAM HOSTS EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, LISTENING SESSIONS AND TRAININGS ACROSS THE STATE. IN FY2023, ARISE STAFF PRESENTED AT 125 COMMUNITY EVENTS REACHING OVER 7,000 PARTICIPANTS.
ADVOCACY: ARISE ENGAGES A LIST OF OVER 12,000 INDIVIDUALS IN ADVOCACY ALERTS. IN FY2023, WE SENT 58 TARGETED ACTION ALERTS GENERATING OVER 10,000 INDIVIDUAL LEGISLATIVE CONTACTS, SUCCESSFULLY SUPPORTED 5 BILLS TO ADVANCE OUR POLICY PRIORITIES, AND BLOCKED HARMFUL LEGISLATION THAT WOULD UNDERMINE OUR AGENDA. ARISE REACHES A STATEWIDE AUDIENCE AS A TRUSTED SOURCE OF INFORMATION TO PROMOTE OUR POLICY PRIORITIES. IN FY2023, ARISE STAFF PRODUCED 37 MEDIA RELEASES AND WERE CITED OVER 1,600 TIMES IN LOCAL, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL MEDIA STORIES.
