ESTABLISHED IN 1984, PROVIDENCE HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH RECEIVES CHARITABLE GIFTS FOR PROVIDENCE HOSPITAL. THE FOUNDATION MANAGES DONORS' GIFTS ACCORDING TO DONORS' WISHES, TO SUPPORT THE CONTINUING HEALTHCARE MINISTRY OF THE DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY IN MOBILE, ALABAMA. THE FOUNDATION ALLOWS THE HOSPITAL TO REACH MANY PEOPLE IT MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO HELP. THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH THE HOSPITAL IN MEETING THE IDENTIFIED NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE FOUNDATION HELP TO FUND PROGRAMS, BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT. AS PART OF THE ASCENSION CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY, THE FILING ORGANIZATION SERVED IN SUPPORT OF ASCENSION'S COMMITMENT TO BOTH CARE FOR PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT CAREGIVERS AND OTHER ASSOCIATES THROUGH THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC IN FY21.
